Tuscaloosa County to issue gay marriage licenses Friday

Same-sex couples seeking marriage licenses in Tuscaloosa County were turned away Monday morning by Probate Judge Hardy McCollum, who said he was bound by an order from Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore to deny their issuance.
